Dr Meghann Ormond founded Journey Makers in 2024 as a part-time consultancy practice. A 2024 Ashoka Hello Accelerator member and Associate Professor in Cultural Geography at Wageningen University & Research, she has co-founded and coordinates experimental and experiential learning initiatives like Migrantour Utrecht (2022-) and Wageningen University's Transformative Learning Hub (2020-). She has also co-designed and -facilitated the Migrantour network's intercultural companion training (2021-), the Centre for Unusual Collaboration's (CUCo) Spark Interdisciplinary Learning Journey (2022) for academic researchers, the Roots Guide (2022) for general audiences, and the Roots Guide Educational Toolkit (2023) for use in formal and informal learning environments.
Meghann has 15+ years of experience as an educator and researcher in American, British, Dutch and Portuguese universities.
